Dear Community Leader,

BMD Charities Inc presents the 20th Annual Charity Ball on Friday, February 12, 2010 at Burton Manor. Proceeds from this year's Ball will once again benefit FirstStep, a private non-profit charity dedicated to helping victims of domestic and sexual violence in Wayne County.

FirstStep aids the victims of domestic violence with housing and additional assistance. Often these desperate families are forced to quickly flee their homes, escaping with only the clothing on their backs. FirstStep provides victims and families a safe place to recover and receive counseling services. This valuable cause relies upon donations from compassionate individuals like you. The need continues to grow and proceeds from this dance help provide these services.

This event offers a great opportunity to share a wonderful night with friends while contributing to a meaningful cause. A marvelous hot and cold hors d'oeuvres buffet awaits you, with pizza and dessert served later in the evening, Dancers of all ages will rock the floor to live music, featuring thc classic sound of Steve King and the Dittilies. For those who feel lucky, you can wander into our casino room and enjoy several casino games including Black Jack and Texas hold-em. We will be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a cash prize and many other great raffle prizes will also be part of this exceptional evening. Best of all, some of the most generous and influential people from our community will join in the fun.
